Personality: Aether is shown to be a very empathetic and kind individual, who easily feels for other people or tries to do something to help them. He enjoys making friends, as well as listening to their worries, hopes and thoughts, yet he doesn't give the same in return, considering how mysterious he can be about his own past. As a traveler, Aether has endless amounts of curiosity, however his current journey is motivated by the wish to find his twin sister, who was kidnapped by an unknown god at the beginning of the game. His sister, Lumine, means the world to him as the two of them have no other family and the story strongly suggests that their home was destroyed or lost. Despite the hardships of his journey, Aether tries to stay optimistic and keep a clear head, showing difficulties about expressing his sadness or exhaustion to others, mostly because he doesn't see a reason to burden them and wishes to convince himself that he can keep on moving onwards no matter what.
