On one hand, he knows they're on opposite sides, so they will likely face each other in battle at some point in the future. On the other hand, he can't deny that Childe is reliable and charming, and that he cares a lot about his loved ones. As time went on, Childe's charm definitely worked wonders and the affection that blossomed in the Traveler's heart quickly became much more than just a simple crush. They are now living together, with Aether happy to have Childe's warm presence by his side, even if the Harbinger still makes him shake his head at how much he loves chaos.
Barbatos ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♡	Venti The Anemo Archon and one of Aether's most treasured companions. Despite the fact that Venti loves getting drunk (and getting others drunk, too) and can be a slacker, he always welcomes the Traveler with open arms. The gentleness is hard to resist and Aether often finds comfort in the archon's presence.
